Delete your Cleared account

Delete it in the app, or ask us by email. Either way, you have 7 days to change your mind before your data is removed.

In the app

Open Cleared on your phone, or sign in at app.clearedprep.com.
On Home, tap your initial to open Account.
Tap Privacy and data, then Delete my account, and confirm.

Your account locks straight away and reminders stop. To undo it, sign in within 7 days and tap Keep my account.

By email

No app needed. Email us from the address on your account. If you sign in with a mobile number, include the number.

We reply within 72 hours. Once we know the account is yours, we start the same 7-day deletion and tell you the date your data will be removed.

What happens to your data

Deleted after 7 days

Your name, email address, phone numbers and sign-in details
Your exam, specialty, sitting date, college and city
Your attempts, answers, progress, bookmarks and re-drills
Your reports, suggested fixes and votes on questions
Your devices, notification and email settings, and the log of emails we sent you

Kept

Payment records, with the passes and referral rewards they paid for: at least seven years, because tax and accounting law requires it, without your name, contact details or receipts.
Consent records: what you agreed to and when, kept as proof, without your IP address or device details.
A record that you asked to delete your account and when it was done, with no personal details.
Security logs, such as when your account moved to a new device: up to 12 months.

If you pay through the App Store or Google Play

Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel it first. Refunds follow Apple's and Google Play's rules.

On an iPhone or iPad: open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions.
On Android: in the Play Store, tap your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.

Early-access requests

A request from this website is separate from your account. We keep it until we have sent your invite and launch news. To remove it sooner, say so in your email.
