Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Cleared is run by Attravo Commerce LLC, which decides how your data is handled. Questions about any of this go to hello@clearedprep.com, and we answer within 72 hours.

2. What we collect

• Account: your name if you give one, your email address or mobile number, the exam and specialty you picked, your sitting date, and your college or hospital if you add it.
• Sign in with Google: your name, email address and profile picture from your Google account, used only to create your Cleared account and sign you in. We don't access anything else in your Google account.
• Study: every attempt, answer, time taken, bookmark, report, correction and vote. This is what makes your progress, your wrong bucket and your re-drills work.
• Device: a random device identifier created on first launch, the device name, model, operating system, app version, IP address, and a push token if you allow notifications.
• Payment: the provider, amount, status and reference. For bank transfers, the proof image you upload. Card numbers never reach us, they stay with Stripe.
• Consent: each choice you make about terms and marketing, with the date, the screen you made it on, and the policy version.
• Email: which emails we sent you and when, whether our email provider accepted each one, and the email choices you make.
• Early access: if you ask for early access on our website, your name, email address, WhatsApp number if you give one, and the platform and exam you picked.
• Support: the messages you send us.

3. What we do not do

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with other companies for their own marketing. We do not read your contacts, photos or location. We do not use your answers to build a profile for anyone outside Cleared.

5. Screenshot protection

On Android, screenshots and screen recording are blocked on question screens. On iOS, the system does not allow blocking, so we record that a screenshot was taken, with the date and the screen, not the image.

This exists to keep the question bank from being copied and passed around. It is not used to follow what you study, and we do not capture your screen.

6. Who processes data for us

These companies handle data on our behalf, under contract, and only to do the job listed.

7. Emails, and how to stop them

Emails your account needs always arrive: sign-in codes, password resets, security notices, your welcome email, emails about your payments (receipt received, approved or not approved), and notices about your account or these policies.

Exam reminders come the morning before your exam date. Plan and trial reminders come the day before your free trial ends, 3 days before a paid plan ends, and the morning after either ends. They are on until you switch them off. Study tips, product updates and offers only come if you ticked the box asking for them. Email and WhatsApp are asked for separately, and neither is ticked by default.

If you asked for early access on our website, we only email you about your invite and launch news.

Every optional email has a Manage email preferences link and an Unsubscribe link. Both open a page on clearedprep.com where you can switch off each kind of email, or all of them, without signing in. Mail apps that offer one-click unsubscribe use the same link. In the app, go to Settings, or Account, Privacy and data. WhatsApp accepts STOP.

8. How long we keep it

• Account and study data: while your account is open.
• After you ask us to delete: 7 days in case you change your mind, then removal. We keep a record that you asked and when it was done, with no personal details.
• Payment records, with the passes and referral rewards they paid for: at least seven years, because tax and accounting law requires it. Once your account is deleted, they are kept without your name, contact details or receipts.
• Consent records: kept as proof of what you agreed to and when.
• Email send logs, recording which email went to which address and when: 12 months.
• Early-access requests: until we have sent your invite and launch news, or until you ask us to remove yours.
• Device history and other security logs: 12 months.

9. Your rights

You can get a copy of your data as a JSON file from Account, Privacy and data, correct anything wrong from your profile, withdraw a consent at any time, and delete your account with a 7-day undo window. You can also ask us to do any of these by writing to hello@clearedprep.com, and we will act within 30 days.

If you think we have handled your data badly, tell us first. You also have the right to complain to the relevant data protection authority.

10. Children

Cleared is for medical graduates and students aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

11. Data leaving Pakistan

Some of the companies above store data outside Pakistan, mainly in Singapore, the United States and Europe. Where that happens we rely on their contractual data protection commitments, and we only send what the job needs.

12. Changes to this policy

If we change something that matters, we will tell you in the app at least 14 days before it takes effect and record the version you accepted. The version and date of this policy are at the top of this page.
